Third Party Logistics

Many companies prefer to outsource their logistics and focus on their core business.

Nolan Transport & Warehousing will assume responsibility for all your logistics requirements, or for specific functions that can easily be severed from your operation.

Meeting Food Industry Requirements

A significant portion of our business involves food products and food grade products, such as food packaging. Other products are handled only if they are compatible with food products.

Our food industry customers have varied and evolving requirements. We comply with these requirements and evolve with them.

When it comes to food industry standards concerning the level and nature of pest control, cleaning schedules, lighting requirements, shipment security and so forth, we implement whatever our customers request.

We also meet special customer requirements, such as surprise customer audits, external audits and certifications.

The Nolan facility is registered with the FDA as required by the Anti-Bioterrorism regulations.

Security for High Value Products

Our facility is fully equipped for products that require special security. External measures include a walled, gated yard and cameras that record activity around the building, in the yard and at the dock doors. The facility is fully alarmed and alarms are monitored. Interior doors all lock automatically and access to each section of the building, such as the warehouse, drivers’ area, dispatch and the office, is restricted through electronic pass keys. Visitors must sign in to obtain a visitor’s tag and those visitors who are not known to the company are required to show identification.
